Inventive Productions update:

1.     The Strawberry Festival was a lot of fun—our team had a super time at the Strawberry Festival in downtown Bellevue last week.  We all got sunburnt.  It was great to see how so many people really appreciate history and genealogy and family ties.
2.     Costco Booth—it was a real pleasure to meet so many people at the booth we had at Costco in Woodinville.
3.     Jim Zorn (BEYOND THE LIGHTS)—we are just about finished shooting the biography of the Seahawk’s first starting QB.  He really is a positive role model as a father, husband, football player, football coach, and as Christian.  His message about life has been truly life changing for our entire production team.
4.     Woody O’Rourke (MR BASEBALL)—it was fun to see Woody attending his 50th high school reunion.   His video biography is turning out to be very entertaining.
5.     Shirley Mulliken—this week we are starting a new biography on Shirley.  She has many very interesting stories to tell from her travels all around the world with husband, Jack.
6.     Colleen MacIntosh—we screened the first draft of Colleen’s video biography with her and her son.  Her son was very skeptical about our video biography concept until he saw our DVD.  He learned an entirely new perspective and appreciation for his mother.  It was a very emotional experience to see the son light up when he watched this DVD.
7.     Gordy Graham—we are nearly finished with production of Gordy’s biography DVD.  He truly has led a remarkable life.  A man who once lived for one year on bread and water.  Now he inspires others to live a life worth living.  His life story is stunning, compelling, and moving.
8.     Bob Sealey—last week we interviewed Bob for his video biography.  Bob has been an educator most of his life.  He has dedicated his life to so many worthy causes including the HiLiners.  His life story is very interesting.  Bob has a lot of wisdom, too.
9.     We have a fun OPEN HOUSE PARTY scheduled for Wednesday, July 12th from 5 to 7pm.   You are certainly invited.  Free food, wine, live music, door prizes, demonstrations from our Green Screen studio, and hands-on presentations from our producers and editors.  Feel free to invite your friends.

11.           Our editors are working on a Stroke Victim Tough Guy short documentary starring Gordy Graham.  Gordy explains his remarkable recovery from having a stroke.  He believes that he was able to speed up his recovery using visualization techniques.  This short documentary explains his impressive success story.

CMOH mailed out Hawk Video to all living Recipients
This past week we were contacted by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.  They mailed out 109 of our just-completed video biography DVD of World War Two Medal of Honor recipient John “Bud” Hawk.  This was one for each of the living Medal of Honor recipients.  Mr. Bud Hawk is a true American hero who lives in Bremerton.  His biography is inspirational and moving.  He was decorated by President Harry Truman for being a “human aiming target” and for helping to capture over five hundred enemy in one day.   Our goal is to show this film to as many American vets as possible.  I really want to help capture their wisdom and smart incites to life.  A short sample of the “John Hawk—Medal of Honor Autobiography” can be seen at www.inventiveproductions.com/samples.html

Joke of the week:
A french fry walks into the bar and says to the bartender "Hey , could I get a beer please?"
The bartender looks at him shaking his head and says "No, we don't serve food here."

(Joke submitted by my son Jason)
