Inventive Productions update:

1.     This past week we interviewed a former prison warden from Walla Walla Prison who was very proud of the transformation he personally saw in Gordon Graham who was once a real tough guy, a bad guy, who robbed people, who then became a changed man and motivational speaker.  It was very interesting to learn that this former prison warden also was a war hero who flew Mustangs in WW2 and who also worked as a writer with Erle Stanley Gardner (author of the Perry Mason books).  I think that every one of us has a unique story to tell.  To learn more about Gordon Graham, go to www.ggco.com

2.     This past week we interviewed family and friends of former NFL quarterback Jim Zorn, for his Autobiographical video.

3.     This past week we completed the video biography DVD for World War Two Medal of Honor recipient John “Bud” Hawk.  Mr. Hawk is a true American hero who lives here in the Northwest.  His biography is inspirational and moving.  He was decorated by President Harry Truman for being a “human aiming target” and for helping to capture over five hundred enemy in one day.   We are planning to send a copy of this DVD to every Medal of Honor recipient in America.  Our goal is to show this film to as many WW2 vets as possible.  Right now, over 1400 World War 2 veterans die in America every day.  I really want to do what I can to capture their wisdom and smart incites to life.  A short sample of the “John Hawk—Medal of Honor Autobiography” can be seen at www.inventiveproductions.com/samples.html

5.     We are looking for a Seattle-area movie theater to showcase our Bud Hawk DVD to local military veterans.  We want to do a free or charity event, where we can show local veterans the Hawk film and also help raise money for charity.  If you have an idea of a great venue, please email RJ@inventiveproductions.com

6.      We are completing a great new Autobiographical video for a local, 80-year old retired accountant.

7.     Interns wanted.  We are getting very busy with all these new Video Autobiography projects.  All prospective interns should email their resume to RJ@inventiveproductions.com

8.     We are nearly finished with the production of an Autobiography video of a regular Seattle guy who lived a normal American life.  His life is so normal that it is so very interesting.  Everyone does have a great story to tell.    The interesting thing is that his story is funny, sad, emotional, compelling, and very entertaining.

Family update:
We finally closed escrow on our new home in Redmond, WA.  It is located at the end of the road, with nearly four acres and a great view.  We are very lucky and blessed.  The kids are very excited that school will be over on the 15th.  Then off to our new home.  Victoria has been very busy packing, packing, and packing.  I am sad to say that I am ready to give away most of my precious collection of books and most of my magazine collection, too.  I have accumulated thousands of books over the years.  I think I am ready to downsize for the first time ever, and give away MY BOOKS and MAGAZINES!  If you are interested in taking some of these books for free, please email me at RJ@inventiveproductions.com  I cannot believe I have so many American Cinematographer magazines and movie books and sales books and …..  My daughter Crissy did a great job in setting up my MYSPACE page.  You can view it at www.myspace.com/moviedream  My wife Victoria is starting a new company in WA called Family Realty and she also plans to startup a new dachshund puppy business, too.  You can see pictures of them at www.astoriaweenies.com

Joke of the week:
Timmy: Miss Teacher, would you yell at me for doing something I didn't do?
Teacher: No.
Timmy: Good, because I didn't do my homework!

(Joke submitted by my son Jason)
